NEW use the Twisted T-Bar on even more bikes!
The Twisted T-Bar and Mini Twisted T-Bar are made for clamping on a 1-1/8" threadless steerer - the most common size for modern bikes - but there are lots of great bikes out there with quill stems in 1" threaded steerers.
We've had a lot of of requests for a T-Bar made for Quill stems, and this is our answer for the near future.
These spacers are turned on a manual lathe here by us. Made from 6061 aluminum with a lip to precisely match the shape of the T-Bar clamp.
You'll need to loosen your stem's wedge bolt and remove it from the steerer of your bike, typically using a 6mm hex key. Then, slide the spacer and T-Bar onto your stem from the bottom, and reinstall your stem. Be aware that some cantilever or center-pull rim brake bikes could have interference from the front brake cable. If your brake cable housing goes in to the top of your stem and the cable exits from the bottom, you won't be able to use the Twisted T-bar without switching to a crown or headset mounted cable stop.

Geometry and Sizing
For the "reach" of the T-Bar, from the center of the steer tube to the front edge of the T-Bar where it bends down toward the crossbar is 105mm for the large, 84mm for the medium, and 63mm for the small, +/- 1 or 2mm.
For "drop" all sizes position the crossbar roughly 130mm from the middle of the clamp to the bottom of the crossbar, though this varies a bit based on head tube angle. Generally speaking this results in a 140-160mm "Bar-to-Bar" measurement, from where your bag attaches to the handlebar and the crossbar the T-Bar.
This distance is ideal for most medium-large front bags, though some larger bags like the Fab's Chest benefit from an extra steer tube spacer between the bottom of your stem and the top of the T-Bar clamp.
